Not generally a good idea to run Beta OS but was advised this was stable and it does seem to work fine. Qfinder Pro no longer finds the NAS and the mapped network drives don't work and time machine hasn't backed up. 'Something' on the desktop system is preventing LAN access to other devices. From a laptop on the same LAN, I can access the NAS and connect to the desktop system using RemotePC. I'm also unable to use RemotePC to connect to LAN systems from the desktop. However I cannot find the device on the network using the QFinder app or the Cloud App. The light on the from of the unit flashes orange which apparently indicates it has a network connection according to the manual. If your fast connection between your Mac and your QNAP NAS has suddenly stopped working then this is why. They are brand new and I have just plugged them in. Oh… yeah.Apple occasionally break a few things with their operating system updates and it has come to pass that the latest version of OSX: Big Sur 10.3 does this for IP over thunderbolt.
